Buying annual ryegrass over perennial ryegrass will initially cost you 50% more because of the cost of the seeds. Perennial rye seed cost more.
But, because perennial rye seed is smaller, a bag of perennial will go 30% farther. Most importantly, perennial rye will give you a better stand of winter grass with a lot less maintenance.
